The Archives not only provides a basis for Pittsburgh's medical history from the early years of caring for epidemic patients to state-of-the-art trauma but also highlights the contributions of the Pittsburgh Sisters of Mercy to the health care of the community. Holdings: This collection includes 10,000 photographs and 1,500 linear feet of archival material relating to the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh (1847-present) and the UPMC Mercy (2008-PRESENT).
