Archival materials are also frequently displayed in the Lewis B. Flinn Library and elsewhere in Christiana Hospital. Holdings: The Academy holds 1,200 volumes in its rare book collection, 1580-1970 (bulk 1880-1950s); 3,000 medical artifacts, including instruments, doctor’s bags, memorabilia, medicine bottles, and artwork; 31 cubic feet papers and manuscripts (includes photo collection).
